Nesting birds prefer to have their birdhouses in the shade with the door facing East. This will reduce the head in the house (which can affect the life of the birds) and cause the birdhouse to warp. While printed in durable PLA, it can be subject to heat. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is a 3D printed product, so there may be minor defects (rough edges, bumps, etc). It is all made of Biodegradeable Plastic. I have spent a lot of time calibrating my printers and I use the best printer and settings for the desired effect on each model.
